ARC International Welcomes Summer Interns

ARC International is pleased to announce that Taylor Klinkel and Hannah Schmitz have joined the ARC team as summer interns. Taylor Klinkel is majoring in Environmental Design at student at Montana State University. She will graduate in the spring of 2014 and plans on attending graduate school. Taylor is interested in sustainable design and its effects throughout the world. She attended a hands on design / build studio in Kenya helping to build straw bale structures in the summer of 2012. She will return to Kenya next year to research sustainable buying and building habits and to conduct...

Black Hills Transition Center Dedication

Dedication of the Black Hills Correctional Transition Center was held in Rapid City on May 22, 2012.  ARC International is architect for the building remodel.   The 55,294-square-foot building can house up to 419 inmates with additional space for drug and alcohol support groups, counseling and classrooms. The main floor of the center includes a dining room and kitchen managed by a professional firm and using inmate workers. The Retreat Center at Terra Sancta & St. Elizabeth Seton Elementary School Open House on May 10, 2012

There was a great article in the Rapid City Journal about St. Elizabeth Seton Elementary School moving into their newly renovated building at the former St. Martin's Academy campus. Congratulations to the 2012 CIC master craftsman award winners!

We are proud to announce that the following individuals were honored as master craftsman award winners at the Construction Industry Center's Annual meeting on Feb. 25, 2012.The awards were given for work done on two of ARC International's recent projects;  the Game Fish and Park Outdoor Campus West and Terra Sancta at the old St. Martin Monastery. Box Elder City Hall Building On Schedule

The New Box Elder City Administration building is a multi-use structure that will house the town hall, administrative offices, police department and a community center. Currently under construction, the project was designed around owner provided concepts and materials which added programming flexibility and economy to the overall project. Box Elder Planning Director, Mike McMahon, said the idea is to create a downtown atmosphere similar to Rapid City's Main Street Square.
